Welcome to Joyful Journeys! By booking with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. We recommend reading these carefully to ensure a seamless travel experience.

1. Booking and Payments

Booking Confirmation: A booking will be confirmed once a deposit of 25% of the total package cost is received.
Full Payment: The balance must be paid at least 30 days before departure. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of the booking, and cancellation charges will apply.
Late Bookings: For bookings made within 30 days of the departure date, full payment must be made at the time of booking.
Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit/debit card, bank transfer, and UPI.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation by Client:
More than 45 days before departure: Full refund minus the booking deposit.
30 to 45 days before departure: 50% of the total package cost.
Less than 30 days before departure: No refund.
No refunds will be provided for no-shows or failure to board the scheduled flight/train.
Cancellation by Joyful Journeys: In case of unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, political instability, etc.), we reserve the right to cancel the trip. Full refunds or alternative arrangements will be provided.
Refund Processing: Refunds will be processed within 15 business days after confirmation of cancellation.

3. Amendments and Changes

Changes by Client: Any changes made to confirmed bookings (e.g., travel dates, destination) must be requested in writing. Amendments are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Changes by Joyful Journeys: We reserve the right to make minor changes to the itinerary (e.g., route adjustments) for logistical reasons. Major changes will be communicated promptly, and suitable alternatives or refunds will be provided.

4. Travel Documents and Visa

Responsibility: It is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure they have valid travel documents (passport, visa, permits) required for the trip.
Failure to Comply: Joyful Journeys will not be held liable if you are unable to travel due to incomplete or incorrect travel documentation.

5. Health and Safety

Medical Conditions: You must inform us of any medical conditions or special needs that may affect your travel experience at the time of booking.
Travel Insurance: All travellers must have travel insurance that covers health, accidents, and trip cancellations. Joyful Journeys is not responsible for any medical expenses incurred during the trip.

6. Liability

Limited Liability: Joyful Journeys acts as an intermediary for travel arrangements and services provided by third-party suppliers (hotels, transport companies, etc.). We are not responsible for any injury, loss, damage, or delay caused by these suppliers.
Force Majeure: Joyful Journeys is not liable for any cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, or pandemics.

7. Accommodation and Transport

Accommodation: All accommodations are based on double occupancy unless specified otherwise. Requests for specific room types (single, twin) are subject to availability.
Transport: Transport services (flights, trains, buses) are arranged with third-party providers. We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or missed connections due to external factors.

8. Special Requests

Dietary Requirements: We strive to accommodate special dietary requests. However, Joyful Journeys cannot guarantee that all requests will be met.
Other Requests: Special requests such as room preferences, wheelchair access, or specific activities must be made at the time of booking and are subject to availability.

9. Code of Conduct

Behaviour: Travellers are expected to behave responsibly and respect the local customs, environment, and fellow group members. Joyful Journeys reserves the right to remove any individual from the group whose behaviour disrupts the tour or endangers others.
Damages: Any damage caused by a traveller to property, accommodation, or transportation during the trip will be the responsibility of the traveller, and they will be liable for the cost of repair or replacement.

10. Complaints and Disputes

Complaints: Any complaints during the trip should be immediately brought to the attention of the tour guide or company representative so they can be addressed. If the issue is not resolved, written complaints must be submitted within 14 days after the trip ends.
Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the issue through negotiation. If unresolved, legal action may be taken.

11. Photography and Marketing

Consent: By joining a Joyful Journeys tour, travellers consent to the use of any photographs or videos taken during the trip for promotional purposes unless otherwise stated.

12. Age Restrictions

Minimum Age: Most Joyful Journeys trips are open to all ages, but some may have specific age requirements. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
